About the Role
AEBOCODE Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and hands-on Drone Pilot Cum Technician to support the operation, demonstration, testing, and maintenance of our Firefighting Drone Systems.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience in professional drone operations along with strong technical troubleshooting capabilities. The role will involve regular field demonstrations, equipment handling, testing, maintenance, and coordination with the technical and business development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate firefighting drones during product demonstrations, field trials, testing, and customer visits.
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections of drones and associated equipment.
- Set up, configure, test, and troubleshoot drone systems and accessories.
- Perform basic maintenance, repair, and servicing of drone components.
- Identify and resolve operational and technical issues during field activities.
- Support the engineering/R&D team during testing and product development activities.
- Assist the sales and business development team during technical demonstrations.
- Ensure safe handling, transportation, assembly, and operation of drone equipment.
- Maintain flight records, equipment logs, maintenance records, and field reports.
- Provide technical and operational feedback to the engineering team.
- Travel to customer locations, project sites, exhibitions, and demonstration venues as required.
- Follow applicable drone operating procedures and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Valid drone pilot certification/licence as applicable.
- Practical experience operating professional or industrial drones.
- Technical knowledge of drone hardware, flight controllers, motors, ESCs, batteries, GPS/GNSS, transmitters, and related systems.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic electrical, mechanical, and electronic issues.
- Experience with industrial, heavy-lift, VTOL, firefighting, or specialized drones will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of drone safety and field operations.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently in field environments.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in industrial drones, firefighting systems, defence/UAV applications, emergency-response technology, robotics, or field technical operations will be preferred.
Compensation
Up to ₹40,000 per month, depending on the candidate's experience, technical skills, drone-piloting expertise, and overall suitability for the role.
