About Us
Bangalore Rural Educational and Development Society (BREADS) is a Registered Charitable
Trust (1138/94-95) of the Don Bosco network in Karnataka and Kerala States. With 33 years of experience and implementing 625+ projects, BREADS has impacted the
development of more than 10,00,000 marginalised children, women and youth through its 48 Don Bosco and other partners, especially in rural and underserved locations. BREADS is part of an international network of Don Bosco organisations working in 136 countries across the globe. Our initiatives across the two states are focused on promoting the rights of vulnerable and rural children and youth through awareness, activism and systemic change.
We are looking for a Resource Mobiliser and Media Content Creator in Bangalore, who can creatively generate collaboration and resources for BREADS' interventions for underprivileged children, youth and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain an interesting online presence for BREADS' on social media platforms through posts and videos
- Create and strengthen various resource mobilisation channels to support BREADS' development initiatives
- Initiate and maintain partnerships with corporates to promote their social responsibility in collaboration with BREADS
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing or Media or Social Work (Master’s degree preferred).
- At least 2 years of experience in resource mobilisation or media
- Creative communication skills- for design and interpersonal relations
- Genuine concern for child welfare and social work.
