Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Nursing Responsibilities
Perform clinical nursing duties such as specimen collection, sterilization of instruments, monitoring vital signs, and observing reactions to medications and treatments.
Collection of specimens (blood, urine, swabs, etc.) following aseptic protocols.
Sterilisation and disinfection of medical instruments and surfaces.
Monitoring and documenting vital signs (BP, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, SpO2, etc.).
Administering medications and injections as prescribed.
Observing and recording patient responses to medications and treatments, and reporting adverse effects immediately.
Assist doctors with minor procedures, wound dressings, ECGs, nebulisation, and IV/IM drug administration.
Monitor and manage medical consumables to ensure availability and minimal wastage.
Ensure infection control measures are consistently followed in all settings.
Conduct home visits as and when required on a case-by-case basis.
2. Patient Care and Communication:
Sterilisation and disinfection of medical instruments and surfaces.
Educate patients on preventive healthcare, healthy lifestyle choices, chronic disease management, and medication adherence.
Offer post-consultation guidance and counselling, especially for patients with non- communicable diseases (e.g., diabetes, hypertension).
Explain procedures and treatments in a patient-friendly manner to alleviate anxiety and encourage compliance.
Raise awareness during health camps about preventive screenings and follow-up care.
3. Health Camp Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, both in the clinic and during health camps.
Coordinate and oversee the end-to-end operations of community health camps in societies, corporates, schools, and public venues.
Set up camp infrastructure including equipment, documentation desks, patient flow zones, and emergency response areas.
Conduct initial assessments at camps (BP, height, weight, BMI, sugar test, etc.).
Ensure timely, safe, and dignified patient flow, minimising waiting times and maintaining quality of care.
Provide nursing support to doctors during consultations, screenings, and procedures at camps.
Be prepared to deliver emergency first aid and basic life support (BLS) as needed.
Maintain hygiene, manage biomedical waste disposal, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards on-site.
Coordinate with the camp team for logistical support, supply replenishment, and smooth transitions between stations.
Collect feedback from participants and document camp outcomes and areas for improvement.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
Accurately maintain and update patient records, both in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and on physical forms where applicable.
Record health camp activities including patient count, screening summaries, and referral outcomes.
Maintain logs of administered medications, consumables used, and equipment handled.
Ensure all necessary forms (consent, health check-up, referrals, etc.) are duly filled and filed.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and camp-specific nursing reports to the designated supervisor.
Document and handover pending tasks during shift change to ensure continuity of care.
5. Equipment & Inventory Management:
Handle all medical equipment with care during clinic duties and health camps.
Ensure devices (e.g., BP monitors, glucometers, pulse oximeters) are calibrated, sanitised, and in working condition.
Monitor usage and storage of clinical supplies and notify supervisors for replenishment.
Maintain inventory records for both routine clinic uses and health camp activities.
Ensure that the inventory is not expired and report issues if any to the appropriate stakeholders without delay.
6. Quality, Safety & Compliance
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, both in the clinic and during health camps.
Uphold patient confidentiality and ensure adherence to HIPAA / relevant Indian data
protection standards.
Follow RxDx’s clinical protocols, safety standards, and SOPs in both fixed and mobile healthcare settings.
Participate in regular training, drills, and capacity building on emergency response, infection control, and quality care practices.
Identify gaps in care delivery and suggest process improvements for enhanced patient experience and clinical efficiency.
Contribute to internal audits, accreditation preparedness (e.g., NABH), and compliance reporting.
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
