Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Relationship Manager – Institutional Sales to drive business growth across Family Offices, Corporate Treasuries, and Institutional Clients in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have strong AMC institutional sales experience, an active network within the institutional ecosystem, and a proven track record of acquiring and managing large investment mandates.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow AUM, revenue, and market share across assigned institutional accounts.
- Acquire new business from Family Offices, Corporate Treasuries, Trusts, and Institutional Investors.
- Strengthen existing relationships and increase wallet share across Equity, Debt, and Hybrid Mutual Fund products.
- Identify and reactivate dormant client relationships.
- Conduct regular meetings with investment committees, family office principals, and treasury heads.
- Provide market intelligence, competitor insights, and client feedback to senior leadership.
- Achieve business targets through a structured and relationship-driven sales approach.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline updates.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 12+ years of experience in Institutional Sales within an Asset Management Company (AMC).
- Strong network among Family Offices, Corporate Treasuries, Institutional Investors, and Allocators.
- Deep understanding of Mutual Funds, Capital Markets, Equity, Fixed Income, and Hybrid products.
- Proven track record of institutional mandate acquisition and AUM growth.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive business growth.
Qualification
- MBA (Preferred)
- CFA / CWM / CFP will be an added advantage.
Preferred Background
- Current or prior experience with Asset Management Companies (AMC) is mandatory.
- Candidates with established institutional relationships in Mumbai will be preferred.
