IOQM Math Online Tutor (Part‑Time, Remote)
About the Role
Eterna Math is looking for a highly dedicated online math tutor to train motivated students for IOQM exams(grades 6–12). We are building a strong, long‑term academic team and are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys problem‑solving and teaching.
Responsibilities
- Teach live online classes focused on IOQM‑level problem solving (number theory, combinatorics, algebra, geometry).
- Guide a group of students through past IOQM/RMO papers and high‑quality Olympiad problem sets.
- Give and check homework, and discuss solutions in detail.
- Track student progress and share brief feedback when needed.
- Be punctual, consistent, and responsive to messages.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of focused experience training students specifically for IOQM (not just school math).
- Strong understanding of Olympiad‑style problems and solutions.
- Good communication skills in English (and Hindi/Tamil is a plus).
- Reliable laptop, internet, and writing device (tablet/writing pad).
- Availability for fixed evening or weekend slots (IST).
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Cleared IOQM / RMO / INMO yourself, or mentored students who did.
- Experience teaching in small online batches.
- Comfort with using Zoom/Meet and online whiteboard tools.
Pay and Working Model
- Pay: Hourly, competitive and reasonable for genuine talent (will be discussed based on experience and demo performance).
- Mode: Fully online, work from home.
- Start date: Immediate, after a short screening and demo class.
