Job Summary
We are looking for a Customer Sales Support Executive to support our logistics sales and operations team by managing customer communication, shipment coordination, documentation, and service support activities. The ideal candidate should have good coordination skills, customer handling ability, and basic knowledge of logistics and import/export operations.
Key Responsibilities Customer Coordination & Support
- Respond to customer inquiries related to shipments, documentation, pricing, and service updates
- Coordinate with clients regarding shipment schedules, delivery timelines, and cargo movement
- Maintain professional communication and build strong customer relationships
- Support customer servicing activities and regular follow-ups
Sales Support
- Prepare quotations, rate sheets, and proposals as required
- Maintain records of customer interactions and business updates
- Coordinate with the sales team for client follow-ups and support activities
- Assist in maintaining customer databases and sales-related documentation
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain shipment records, invoices, and operational documents
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
- Ensure proper filing and tracking of logistics documentation
- Update CRM or internal systems regularly
Operational Coordination
- Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, CHA teams, warehouses, and internal departments
- Track shipment status and assist in resolving operational delays
- Ensure smooth coordination for import/export cargo handling activities
Client Support & Issue Resolution
- Handle customer concerns and provide timely resolutions
- Escalate critical operational issues to relevant departments when necessary
- Maintain service quality and customer satisfaction standards
Required Skills
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Customer relationship management and follow-up ability
- Basic understanding of logistics and import/export operations
- Knowledge of MS Excel and reporting
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving and coordination skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
- MBA preferred
- 1–5 years of experience in logistics, customer support, sales coordination, or related field
- Experience in freight forwarding, shipping, transport, CHA, or supply chain industry will be an added advantage
