Job Summary
CHRE DESIGNS LLP is looking for a responsible, experienced, and dedicated Site Supervisor to manage and supervise day-to-day construction and interior execution activities at our project sites.
The selected candidate must provide full attention to assigned projects, maintain regular presence at the site, coordinate with workers, contractors, vendors, designers, architects, engineers, and the project management team, and ensure that all work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
This is a full-time position requiring strong site-management skills, discipline, punctuality, technical understanding, and the ability to handle multiple teams and site-related responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction, civil, interior, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, false-ceiling, painting, flooring, and finishing activities.
- Ensure that all work is executed according to approved architectural drawings, interior drawings, structural drawings, specifications, and instructions issued by the company.
- Coordinate with masons, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, fabricators, contractors, vendors, and other site workers.
- Allocate daily work to labourers and subcontractors and monitor their productivity.
- Maintain regular attendance at the assigned project site during working hours.
- Check the quality of materials delivered to the site and report damaged, incorrect, or substandard materials.
- Verify measurements, levels, alignments, dimensions, slopes, and finishing quality before and during execution.
- Prevent material wastage, improper usage, theft, and unnecessary site expenses.
- Maintain records of labour attendance, material receipt, material consumption, work progress, and pending activities.
- Prepare and share daily site progress reports, photographs, videos, labour details, and material updates with the management.
- Inform the Project Manager or Principal Designer immediately about any delay, technical issue, drawing discrepancy, shortage of materials, labour problem, or client-related concern.
- Coordinate material requirements in advance to prevent interruption of work.
- Ensure proper storage and protection of cement, steel, plywood, laminates, hardware, sanitary items, electrical materials, tiles, paints, and other project materials.
- Monitor the project schedule and ensure that each stage of work is completed within the assigned timeline.
- Attend site meetings with clients, contractors, consultants, designers, architects, and management representatives whenever required.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, discipline, and proper organisation at the project site.
- Ensure that workers follow safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment.
- Check completed work before requesting inspection or approval from the Project Manager, Architect, or Designer.
- Prepare snag lists and ensure that corrections and finishing works are completed before handover.
- Handle multiple project sites when assigned by the management.
- Remain available for urgent site requirements, inspections, material deliveries, and coordination when necessary.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience as a Site Supervisor in construction, civil works, interior execution, or a related field.
- Diploma, ITI, or technical qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, Interior Execution, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Candidates with strong practical site experience may also be considered.
- Good understanding of civil construction and interior finishing works.
- Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, furniture, false-ceiling, and interior execution drawings.
- Knowledge of site measurements, material estimation, quality checking, labour management, and work sequencing.
- Familiarity with construction and interior materials, including cement, steel, bricks, tiles, plywood, laminates, hardware, paints, sanitary fittings, and electrical products.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, WhatsApp reporting, email, and digital documentation is preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly in Assamese, Hindi, and basic English.
- A valid driving licence and access to a two-wheeler will be preferred.

Working Conditions
- This is a full-time, site-based position.
- The employee must provide complete attention to the assigned project during working hours.
- Regular physical presence at the project site is mandatory.
- Private work, freelance assignments, or employment with another construction or interior company during the period of employment will not be permitted without written approval from the management.
- Working hours may vary depending on site conditions, project deadlines, concrete work, material deliveries, inspections, and emergency requirements.
- The candidate may be required to work on weekends or holidays when important site activities are scheduled. Compensatory leave may be provided according to company policy.
- The employee may be transferred or assigned to any project site handled by CHRE DESIGNS LLP.
