Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and organized Store Assistant to support daily store operations. The role involves receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory records, along with ensuring proper documentation and housekeeping of the store.
Key Responsibilities
· Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
· Arrange and store materials in an organized manner for easy identification and retrieval.
· Issue materials to departments based on approved requests.
· Maintain accurate stock records and inventory transactions.
· Assist in regular stock counts and periodic inventory audits.
· Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Store In-Charge.
· Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials.
· Maintain cleanliness, safety, and order in the store.
· Coordinate with procurement and operations teams regarding material availability.
· Assist in preparing inventory and stock reports as required.
· Follow company policies and inventory control procedures.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in any discipline.
· 1–2 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or a similar role.
· Basic knowledge of inventory management practices.
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word); ERP/inventory software knowledge is an advantage.
· Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Good communication skills in English; Malayalam preferred.
