Job Summary
The Insurance Advisor is responsible for identifying customer insurance needs, recommending suitable health and general insurance products, acquiring new customers, servicing existing clients, and ensuring policy renewals. The role requires building long-term customer relationships while adhering to IRDAI regulations and ethical sales practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Generate leads through personal networking, referrals, digital platforms, and field activities.
- Promote Health Insurance, Motor Insurance, Travel Insurance, Personal Accident Insurance, Home Insurance, and other General Insurance products.
- Explain policy features, benefits, exclusions, and claim procedures to customers.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
- Provide renewal reminders and policy servicing support.
- Assist customers during claim settlement processes.
- Address customer queries and grievances promptly.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure complete KYC and proposal documentation.
- Adhere to IRDAI guidelines and company policies.
- Maintain accurate customer records and policy information.
- Avoid mis-selling and ensure transparent communication.
Market Awareness
- Stay updated on insurance products, market trends, and regulatory changes.
- Participate in training programs and product launches.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Age: 18 Years.
- Education:
- 12th Pass (Urban Areas).
- 10th Pass (Rural Areas as per applicable regulations).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
- Sales experience preferred but not mandatory.

To become a licensed Insurance Advisor (Health/General Insurance), you must enroll with an insurance company or intermediary, complete the prescribed training, and pass the IC-38 examination.

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
