Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated UI/UX Design Intern who is comfortable leveraging modern AI tools such as Figma AI and coding assistants to design clean, user-centric interfaces. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, iterate quickly, and work closely with designers and developers in a fast-paced product environment.Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Create wireframes, UI mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma and Figma AI.
- Use AI-powered design features (auto-layout, design suggestions, content generation) to speed up design workflows.
- Collaborate with developers and utilize coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) to:
- Understand UI implementation constraints
- Review basic HTML/CSS/React components
- Ensure design-to-code consistency
- Maintain and update design systems, components, and style guides.
- Participate in design reviews, feedback sessions, and usability discussions.
- Iterate designs based on user feedback, analytics, and stakeholder input.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Figma (knowledge of Figma AI is a strong plus).
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles: spacing, typography, color theory, accessibility.
- Familiarity with front-end basics (HTML, CSS, component-based UI concepts).
- Experience or strong interest in using AI coding assistants to support development and learning.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and workflows.
Good to Have
- Exposure to React, Flutter, or other front-end frameworks.
- Experience designing for SaaS, mobile apps, or dashboards.
- Understanding of responsive and adaptive design.
- Portfolio (academic or personal projects acceptable).
