Educational and other qualifications
Minimum 12th Pass or Diploma/degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Landscaping, Forestry, or related field from a recognized institute/university.

Experience
- Minimum 05 years of relevant experience in horticulture maintenance, landscaping works, nursery management, or institutional campus maintenance.
- Experience in educational institutions, townships, hotels, hospitals, or large campuses will be preferred.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day horticulture and landscaping activities across the campus.
- Monitor maintenance of lawns, gardens, hedges, trees, shrubs, flower beds, and indoor plants.
- Coordinate with horticulture contractors and workforce for execution of maintenance activities.
- Ensure timely & proper watering, irrigation, pruning, weeding, mowing, and pest control activities.
- Familiar with the fertilizers, Schedule of Nutrition, knowledge on plants, tress, gardens and shrubs.
- Maintain records of plantation, consumables, fertilizers, pesticides, and gardening equipment.
- Inspect campus landscaping works and report deficiencies or maintenance requirements.
- Assist in development of new landscape areas and seasonal plantation programs.
- Ensure proper upkeep of nursery areas and horticulture stores.
- Monitor operation and maintenance of irrigation systems including sprinklers and drip systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental practices.
- Coordinate during campus events for beautification and special horticulture arrangements.
- Prepare reports, work schedules, and documentation related to horticulture activities.

Desired Skills
- Knowledge of plants, irrigation systems, fertilizers, pesticides, and landscaping practices.
- Ability to supervise manpower and contractors.
- Basic computer knowledge including MS Office and reporting.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle field work and site inspections
- Willingness to work in shifts or during campus events/emergency situations if required.
- Candidate should be proactive, disciplined, and capable of handling multiple horticulture activities simultaneously.

Consolidated remuneration
Rs. 22,500 – 28,000 per month depending on candidate qualifications, experience, and suitability.
