Job Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and practical training in Fashion Designing concepts.
- Train students in fashion illustration, garment construction, pattern making, draping, textile science, and apparel production.
- Conduct hands-on sessions on fabric selection, sewing techniques, garment finishing, and fashion styling.
- Guide students in creating fashion portfolios, collections, and real-time design projects.
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, assignments, and practical assessments.
- Mentor students in developing creative and technical skills aligned with industry standards.
- Stay updated with the latest fashion trends, design techniques, and apparel technologies.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of fashion design principles and garment construction.
- Hands-on experience in pattern making, draping, fashion illustration, and textile design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or fashion CAD software such as CLO 3D, TUKAcad, Gerber, or Lectra is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of apparel manufacturing, fashion merchandising, and quality standards.
- Good communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Passion for teaching and guiding aspiring fashion designers.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or Diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Costume Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge and good communication skills are encouraged to apply.
