A Final Inspector ensures manufactured goods, assemblies, and finished products meet all quality standards, engineering specifications, and customer requirements before shipment. They conduct physical, visual, and functional testing, document defects, and approve items for release.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Testing: Perform thorough visual, dimensional, and functional checks of finished products using exact blueprints or customer specifications.Tool Usage: Utilize precision measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and microscopes.Defect Management: Identify non-conformances, tag defective items, and isolate them to prevent them from proceeding to the customer.Documentation: Accurately record inspection results, generate quality reports, and compile objective evidence for customer presentation.Compliance: Enforce adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and company safety guidelines.Team Collaboration: Work with production teams and quality management to resolve issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.Requirements & SkillsEducation: High school diploma or GED; additional vocational training or certifications in Quality Control are highly preferred.Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or quality control environment.Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints.Attention to Detail: Keen eye for identifying flaws, maintaining precise records, and ensuring product tolerances are met.Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel) and enterprise quality tracking software.
