Gloria Engineering Industries is seeking a proactive and technically strong Maintenance Engineer to oversee maintenance activities across our manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of machinery, minimizing downtime, implementing preventive maintenance schedules, and supporting production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime and quick resolution of breakdowns.
- Prepare and maintain maintenance schedules and records.
- Coordinate with production teams for smooth machine operations.
- Monitor machine performance and suggest improvements for efficiency and reliability.
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance tools.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintenance SOPs.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required.
- Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
- 2–6 years of experience in maintenance within manufacturing or engineering industries.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot industrial machinery independently.
- Familiarity with fabrication and automotive component manufacturing setups preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
