Job Summary
The Store Head is responsible for managing the overall store operations, including inventory control, material receipt, storage, issuance, dispatch, stock verification, and ensuring accurate inventory records. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, minimizing material losses, and ensuring uninterrupted material availability for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall functioning of the stores and warehouse.
- Ensure timely receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of raw materials, packing materials, consumables, and finished goods.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and physical stock verification.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Purchase Department for timely replenishment.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed wherever applicable.
- Maintain proper documentation for GRN, material issue slips, stock transfers, returns, and dispatch records.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, and Accounts departments for smooth material flow.
- Monitor inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage, deterioration, or material loss.
- Supervise store staff and allocate daily responsibilities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
- Monitor warehouse housekeeping and maintain 5S standards.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required inventory records and documentation.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and improve store processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, or any relevant discipline.
- Additional certification in Inventory or Warehouse Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in Stores/Warehouse Management, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP B1, SAP, Oracle, or similar software.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per hour
