Production Equipment Maintenance Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Production Equipment Maintenance Engineer to join our maintenance team. The candidate will be responsible for the preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production equipment to ensure maximum machine availability, reliability, and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of production equipment.
- Attend machine breakdowns and restore equipment within the targeted downtime.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain production equipment including:
- Injection Moulding Machines
- Fin Press Shop Machines
- Power Press Machines
- Coil Manufacturing Equipment
- Assembly Line Equipment
- Air Compressors
- Chillers & Cooling Towers
- Material Handling Equipment
- Carry out condition monitoring and machine health inspections.
- Prepare maintenance reports, machine history cards, and service records.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company maintenance procedures.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and recommend critical spares.
- Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, and modification activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve machine reliability and productivity.
Required Skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of PLC, sensors, VFDs, motors, and control panels.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and mechanical layouts.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
- ITI candidates with relevant experience may also apply.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in production equipment maintenance in manufacturing industries.
- Experience in automotive, AC manufacturing, sheet metal, injection moulding, or industrial production plants is preferred.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
