We are expanding our sales team and looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager who can drive new client acquisition and revenue growth, especially across IT services and staffing solutions.
Role Overview
This is a revenue-driven role responsible for generating new business opportunities, closing deals, and expanding MSPowerhouses footprint in the US market.
You will be responsible for:
- Selling IT Services (M365, Azure, Helpdesk, Automation, etc.)
- Selling IT Staffing / Augmentation services
- Building and managing a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities
- Converting prospects into long-term clients
Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, managing the sales cycle, and closing deals for MSPowerhouse's IT services and technology solutions.
The ideal candidate should have experience selling IT services to US-based clients and possess strong communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and target key decision-makers including:
- CIOs
- CTOs
- IT Directors
- Operations Leaders
- Business Owners
- Generate new business opportunities through:
- LinkedIn outreach
- Email campaigns
- Networking
- Referrals
- Market research
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
Sales & Client Acquisition
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client requirements.
- Present MSPowerhouse services and solutions effectively.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and solution recommendations.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals.
Client Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor for technology initiatives.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and account growth.
Market Intelligence
- Stay updated with US technology trends and market demands.
- Identify emerging opportunities and target industries.
- Provide insights on competition, pricing, and service positioning.
Required Skills & Experience
Must Have
- 3+ years of experience in IT Services Sales, Technology Consulting Sales, or B2B Business Development.
- Experience selling to US-based clients.
- Proven track record of generating leads and closing deals.
- Strong understanding of IT services and technology solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with LinkedIn prospecting and outbound sales.
- Ability to work independently and achieve revenue targets.
Good to Have
- Experience selling IT Staffing or Resource Augmentation services.
- Experience working with MSPs, System Integrators, or IT Consulting firms.
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and Power Platform.
- Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar platforms.
- Existing network of US clients and decision-makers.
