About the Role
DIYguru is looking for a Corporate Relations Executive – Industry Partnerships & Placements who can build, manage and grow relationships with corporate recruiters, HR professionals, hiring managers and industry stakeholders.
This is a partnership-heavy and placement-focused role. The candidate will be responsible not only for generating corporate leads but for converting relationships into tangible business and placement outcomes, including:
- Hiring requirements
- Placement opportunities
- Internship opportunities
- OJT opportunities
- Recruitathon participation
- Corporate training opportunities
- Industry partnerships
- MoUs and strategic collaborations
- Repeat hiring relationships
The ideal candidate will combine corporate relationship management, recruitment coordination and strong follow-up skills.
Key Responsibilities1. Corporate Partnership Development
- Build relationships with HR Heads, Talent Acquisition Managers, Recruitment Heads and Hiring Managers.
- Identify companies with recurring manpower and talent requirements.
- Develop corporate accounts rather than one-time hiring relationships.
- Understand workforce requirements, skill gaps and hiring challenges.
- Develop long-term hiring and industry partnerships.
- Conduct meetings and present relevant DIYguru solutions.
- Maintain regular engagement with existing corporate partners.
2. Corporate Outreach
- Identify and prioritize target companies across EV, automotive, manufacturing, engineering, software, electronics, battery, mobility and related sectors.
- Develop account-wise prospect lists and identify relevant decision-makers.
- Conduct outreach through LinkedIn, email, calls, industry networks, referrals and events.
- Schedule meetings with HR and business stakeholders.
- Maintain a structured corporate sales/partnership pipeline.
- Move prospects through defined stages from lead → meeting → requirement → partnership → hiring → repeat engagement.
- Track conversion and follow-up activities consistently.
3. Placement & Recruitment Partnerships
- Acquire new corporate hiring requirements and understand company manpower needs.
- Study and interpret technical and non-technical Job Descriptions.
- Coordinate with the placement team for candidate mapping and shortlisting.
- Ensure candidate profiles are aligned with company requirements before sharing.
- Coordinate assessments, interviews, hiring drives and recruitment activities.
- Track candidate selection, offer and joining status.
- Collect employer feedback after hiring processes.
- Identify opportunities for repeat hiring and additional manpower requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with companies throughout the recruitment cycle.
4. Industry Networking & Representation
- Attend industry events, HR conferences, EV and automotive events, seminars and networking forums.
- Build professional relationships with industry leaders, HR professionals and business stakeholders.
- Use LinkedIn strategically for corporate networking and relationship development.
- Identify potential partnership opportunities through industry networks.
- Represent DIYguru professionally in external meetings, events and discussions.
- Maintain an active network of relevant industry contacts.
5. College & Institutional Partnerships
- Develop relationships with TPOs, Placement Officers, HODs and institutional decision-makers.
- Identify colleges, ITIs, diploma institutes and universities with relevant candidate pools.
- Develop college-industry-placement opportunities.
- Support campus hiring drives and Recruitathons.
- Coordinate institutional outreach and partnership discussions.
- Build and maintain a structured institutional database.
- Identify opportunities for long-term college and industry collaborations.
6. Employer Branding & Corporate Communication
Work closely with the marketing/content team to support:
- Corporate success stories
- Hiring partner communications
- Placement success stories
- Industry collaboration announcements
- LinkedIn outreach campaigns
- Corporate newsletters
- Employer partnership content
Ensure that all external communication reflects DIYguru's professional image and value proposition.
7. MIS, CRM & Pipeline Management
Maintain accurate and updated records for:
- Corporate database
- HR/POC database
- Target account list
- Active hiring requirements
- Corporate prospect pipeline
- Follow-up tracker
- Meeting tracker
- JD tracker
- Interview tracker
- Selection tracker
- Joining tracker
- Repeat hiring tracker
- Partnership/MoU tracker
Prepare regular MIS reports covering new leads, meetings, requirements, conversions, active hiring, closures and repeat opportunities.
Key Performance Expectations
