Ideal Candidate Profile
Approximately 10–18 years of relevant experience with meaningful leadership responsibility in Quality Assurance, Operational Excellence, Business Excellence, Process Quality or Compliance Operations. Potential current titles may include Head of Quality Assurance, Head of Business Excellence, Quality & Operational Excellence Lead, Process Excellence Head or Senior Quality Operations Leader. Title is secondary to evidence of building quality systems, reducing defects and independently driving corrective actions through to closure.
Key Responsibilities
· Build and own the company-wide Quality Assurance and Business Excellence framework.
· Define quality standards, controls, audit mechanisms and accountability across departments.
· Develop, implement and continuously improve SOP governance across business functions.
· Design and run internal process audits across Operations, Warehouse, Fulfilment, Customer Service and other critical functions.
· Own company-wide defect identification, root-cause analysis, CAPA governance and effectiveness verification.
· Identify recurring operational failures and drive permanent corrective and preventive solutions.
· Establish quality KPIs, defect trends, dashboards and leadership reporting.
· Build early-warning mechanisms for quality, compliance and operational risks.
· Govern manufacturer and critical vendor quality performance through scorecards, deviations, CAPAs and follow-up.
· Ensure manufacturing quality processes, documentation, testing and release controls are followed without compromising QA independence.
· Use customer complaints, returns, negative reviews and service failures as structured quality inputs.
· Drive warehouse and fulfilment quality improvement, including error reduction and process reliability.
· Partner with Business Operations to improve productivity without compromising quality.
· Drive continuous improvement, process simplification and scalable controls.
· Build a culture where teams own quality rather than treating QA as the department responsible for fixing every problem.
Must-Have Experience
· Strong experience in Quality Assurance, Operational Excellence, Business Excellence, Process Quality or Compliance Operations.
· Experience building or managing quality systems across complex operations.
· Strong practical experience with root-cause analysis, CAPA, defect reduction and continuous improvement.
· Experience designing KPIs, audits, controls and governance mechanisms.
· Demonstrated ability to drive quality improvements across teams that may not directly report to the role.
· Strong data-driven problem solving and process improvement capability.
· Experience managing quality or compliance performance across vendors, partners or distributed operations.
· Strong stakeholder management and ability to hold senior functional owners accountable.
· Experience in FMCG, D2C, consumer products, food/nutrition, e-commerce, retail, manufacturing-linked operations or other fast-scaling environments is preferred.
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
