Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of storytelling, timing, and visual composition. You’ll be responsible for editing promotional videos, social media content, digital ads, and branded content for a diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Create short-form videos, reels, ads, and motion content as per client briefs
- Collaborate closely with the creative team, including directors and graphic designers
- Add music, sound effects, graphics, subtitles, and visual effects as needed
- Organize and archive video footage in an efficient and accessible manner
- Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and project objectives
- Stay updated on trends in video content, editing styles, and social media formats
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a video editor (portfolio/reel required)
- Proficiency in editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
- Basic understanding of motion graphics and color correction
- Good sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of social media trends and digital marketing
- Familiarity with photography and basic graphic design
