Job Summary
The Service Backend Executive is responsible for supporting workshop and service operations through backend coordination, documentation, customer follow-up, warranty processing, job card management, spare parts coordination, and service reporting. The role ensures smooth communication between customers, technicians, service advisors, and management for efficient vehicle service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain job cards, repair orders, and service records.
- Coordinate with service advisors and workshop technicians for vehicle status updates.
- Process warranty claims and ensure documentation compliance.
- Maintain service history and update ERP/DMS systems accurately.
- Track pending jobs, vehicle delivery timelines, and customer approvals.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly service reports.
- Coordinate spare parts availability with the parts department.
- Handle customer follow-ups for feedback, AMC reminders, and repeat visits.
- Support breakdown service coordination and roadside assistance records.
- Ensure compliance with company service standards and audit requirements.
- Monitor workshop productivity and turnaround time (TAT).
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any graduate degree.
- 1–3 years of experience in automobile service operations preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle workshop processes.
- Familiarity with DMS/ERP software and MS Excel.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Salary Range (India – Approx.)
- Fresher: ₹15,000 – ₹22,000/month
- Experienced: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000/month
- (varies by dealership and location)
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
