Accontant
We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accountant to manage the company's financial records, bookkeeping, taxation, compliance, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and accounting software, with the ability to maintain accurate financial records and support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Record daily vouchers, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
- Maintain ledgers, books of accounts, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate MIS reports and financial summaries for management.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights for business decisions.
- Prepare and file GST returns accurately and on time.
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and return filings.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and taxation laws.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities when required.
- Process employee salaries and payroll records.
- Maintain expense records and reimbursements.
- Support financial audits and documentation requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Required Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 0-1 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in Tally or other accounting software.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
