The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical education and a commitment to promoting health and wellness among students. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive physical education curriculum in line with CBSE guidelines
- Plan and conduct engaging and interactive physical education classes for students
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to help them improve their physical fitness and skills
- Organize and supervise sports activities, competitions, and events
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to promote a holistic approach to student development
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior
- Stay current on trends and best practices in physical education and incorporate them into lesson plans Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Education or related field
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification
- Previous experience teaching physical education at the secondary level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to lead active and healthy lifestyles
- Knowledge of CBSE curriculum and assessment practices
