Responsibilities:
Own the development, enhancement and maintenance of an existing Laravel-based enterprise application.
- Understand the existing architecture, APIs, controllers, models, services, middleware, migrations, jobs and
database structure.
- Trace complex application flows across backend services, database queries and frontend/mobile integration
points.
- Lead debugging and root-cause analysis for functional, integration, performance and production issues.
- Design, build, modify and review secure REST APIs based on defined business and technical requirements.
- Perform impact analysis before making changes and ensure unrelated functionality is not affected.
- Optimize MySQL queries, joins, indexes, transactions and data-access patterns where required.
- Refactor existing code carefully while preserving backward compatibility and current business behaviour.
- Review pull requests, identify technical risks and enforce agreed coding standards and development practices.
- Guide and mentor junior or mid-level developers on implementation, debugging and code quality.
- Coordinate with frontend, mobile, QA, product and business teams for API requirements, dependencies and issue
resolution.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for code understanding, debugging, refactoring, test support and development
acceleration.
- Validate AI-generated suggestions thoroughly before implementation and reject unsafe or incorrect
recommendations.
- Ensure proper validation, authorization, error handling, logging, security and maintainability in delivered code.
- Document API changes, technical decisions, logic changes, risks and assumptions clearly.
- Use Git effectively for branching, meaningful commits, pull requests, code review and release coordination
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
