Accounts Receivable Executive – Solar Industry
Role Overview
The Accounts Receivable Executive will be responsible for managing customer invoicing, collections, and reconciliation processes for solar projects (rooftop C&I and ground-mount). This role ensures healthy cash flow, accurate financial records, and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Billing & Invoicing
- Prepare and issue invoices for solar projects, products, and services.
- Ensure accuracy of billing details as per contracts and purchase orders.
- Track milestone-based billing for EPC/installation projects.
- Collections & Follow-up
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with clients for timely payments.
- Maintain strong client relationships to resolve payment disputes.
- Escalate overdue accounts and support recovery actions.
- Reconciliation & Reporting
- Record receipts and reconcile customer accounts.
- Prepare AR aging reports and highlight risks to management.
- Support monthly closing activities and audit requirements.
- Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of invoices, receipts, and contracts.
- Coordinate with finance and project teams for accurate records.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
- 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in solar/renewable energy or EPC industry.
- Strong knowledge of invoicing, collections, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software (Tally/ERP), and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical ability.
