We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic intern who wants to build a career in Retention Marketing through Email and WhatsApp Marketing. This role offers hands-on exposure to real campaigns, customer engagement, marketing automation, and CRM.
About the Role
As an Email & WhatsApp Marketing Intern, you will support the marketing team in executing customer communication campaigns across multiple brands. You will learn how to create campaigns, manage customer segments, monitor performance, and use leading marketing automation platforms such as Klaviyo and WhatsApp Business tools.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in eCommerce and digital marketing.
Key Outcomes
1. Campaign Execution
- Assist in creating, scheduling, and executing email and WhatsApp campaigns.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on time.
2. Customer Segmentation
- Learn to create and manage customer segments.
- Maintain subscriber lists and contact databases.
3. Campaign Quality & Reporting
- Perform quality checks before campaign launches.
- Track campaign performance and update marketing reports.
4. Marketing Automation Support
- Assist in maintaining automated email flows and customer journeys.
- Support campaign documentation and marketing operations.
Daily Responsibilities
- Assist in building and scheduling email campaigns.
- Support WhatsApp campaign execution and broadcasts.
- Coordinate with the design team for campaign creatives.
- Update campaign trackers and reports.
- Perform basic QA before campaigns are sent.
- Organize campaign assets and documentation.
- Learn retention marketing best practices and platform workflows.
Weekly Responsibilities
- Support campaign reporting and performance analysis.
- Update customer segments and subscriber lists.
- Assist in maintaining email automation flows.
- Participate in campaign planning discussions.
- Complete assigned learning modules and practical tasks.
Skills & Competencies Required
- Strong willingness to learn.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of Digital Marketing.
- Familiarity with Canva and Google Sheets.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and ownership mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of Email Marketing.
- Familiarity with Mailchimp, HubSpot, Brevo, or Klaviyo (preferred but not mandatory).
- Basic understanding of WhatsApp Business or WhatsApp Marketing tools.
- Digital Marketing certification is an added advantage.
Experience & Qualifications
- Fresher or up to 6 months of experience.
- Students or recent graduates in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with internship projects or certifications in Digital Marketing will be preferred.
