We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our growing team. Our SaaS platform is already built and live. Your primary responsibility will be maintaining, improving, and expanding our backend systems while ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient backend solutions.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Optimize database performance and write efficient queries.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and resolve bugs.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, and product managers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and technical planning.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience with Python.
- Strong experience with FastAPI (or similar Python web frameworks).
- Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and relational database design.
- Knowledge of Redis, caching, and background task processing.
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Understanding of authentication methods such as JWT and OAuth.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and spoken English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Celery, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
- Experience building or maintaining SaaS applications.
