Role Summary
- Secure online assessments (lockdown browser and proctoring) for unit tests and final exams
- H5P interactive content implementation across existing courses
- Integration of an AI-powered tutor within Moodle with appropriate controls and monitoring
Key Responsibilities
- Secure Online Testing (Immediate Priority)
- Configure and maintain Safe Exam Browser (SEB) / lockdown browser settings for Moodle quizzes
- proctoring workflows for online assessments (unit tests and high-stakes final exams)
- Create standardized security configurations for different assessment types:
- Unit tests (moderate security, scalable)
- Final exams (highest security with strict controls)
- Design scalable exam operations including:
- Eligibility checks and exam windows
- Incident or flag review workflows
- Accommodation handling (extra time, breaks)
- Documented retest rules and audit logs
2. H5P Interactivity Implementation (Long-Term)
- Plan and implement H5P interactive elements within existing Moodle courses
- Establish reusable interaction patterns such as knowledge checks, practice exercises, and feedback loops
- Create authoring guidelines and QA processes for accessibility, mobile performance, and reporting consistency
- Train and support internal staff or content developers on H5P implementation
3. AI Tutor Integration (Design and Readiness)
- Collaborate with leadership and technical teams to integrate an AI-powered tutor within Moodle
- Ensure the AI tutor:
- Uses course content as its knowledge base
- Supports learning assistance without affecting assessment integrity
- Provides guided learning support and remediation
- Includes proper logging, monitoring, and privacy safeguards
Required Skills / Experience:
- Strong Moodle administration experience including roles/permissions, gradebook, course completion tracking, groups/cohorts, and reporting
- Expertise in Moodle quiz configuration and exam security
- Experience configuring Safe Exam Browser (SEB) and quiz access rules
- Experience implementing online proctoring solutions
- Ability to standardize processes and documentation for scalable course delivery
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
- Advanced H5P content creation (Interactive Video, Branching Scenario, Course Presentation, quizzes, etc.)
- Experience with Moodle plugin/theme customization or development
- Experience integrating AI tools or assistants within LMS platforms
- Familiarity with WordPress integration alongside Moodle
