Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer with strong expertise in custom coding, plugin development, theme customization, and website optimization. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of WordPress architecture and hands-on experience in building scalable and high-performance websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress websites.
- Create custom themes and plugins from scratch.
- Customize existing plugins and themes as per project requirements.
- Write clean, optimized, and reusable code.
- Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways.
- Ensure website performance, security, and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot bugs and technical issues efficiently.
- Work closely with designers and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Handle website migration, backup, and deployment processes.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Deep understanding of custom plugin development and WordPress hooks/actions/filters.
- Experience with custom post types, ACF, WooCommerce, and Elementor.
- Knowledge of REST API integration and database optimization.
- Experience with Git/version control.
- Understanding of SEO-friendly and responsive development practices.
- Ability to develop fully custom functionalities without relying heavily on pre-built plugins.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with WooCommerce customizations.
- Knowledge of page speed optimization and security best practices.
- Familiarity with hosting environments, cPanel, and server management.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
