As the Area Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind our LPG Gas Network growth in the Bangalore region. This is an execution-heavy, data-driven role designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the nuances of the LPG ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities :
A. Sales & Network Management
- Strategic Expansion: Lead the identification, vetting, and appointment of new network partners to drive regional growth.
- Network Optimization: Streamline existing partner operations per company policy and motivate Field Executives to exceed sales targets.
- Retail Operations: Oversee company booking counters in major malls (e.g., Big Bazaar, More) and manage the retail executive team.
- B2B & Industrial Growth: Proactively drive and identify targets within the B2B and industrial sectors; manage the end-to-end process of converting specialized inquiries into closed sales to meet rigorous targets.
- Lead Conversion: Rigorously monitor and convert enquiries generated at all retail touchpoints and booking counters.
- Sales Collaboration: Work closely with pan-India sales teams to ensure seamless product placement, performance tracking, and network expansion.
B. Marketing & Brand Strategy
- Integrated Campaigns: Plan and execute marketing strategies involving digital promotions, advertising, and on-ground activations specifically for the LPG segment.
- Promotional Initiatives: Propose and implement high-impact regional marketing activities and localized brand.
- Category Management: Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and consumer demographics to identify and capture growth opportunities.
C.Service, Training & Reputation
- Team Leadership: Manage a large workforce of 20+ staff members; demonstrate expert diplomacy and a polite, professional approach to team management to ensure smooth daily operations without disruptions.
- Skill Development: Train Area Managers and oversee service/installation protocols for delivery personnel to ensure technical excellence.
- Consumer Advocacy: Actively resolve consumer grievances through service teams to maintain a high brand reputation.
- Service Quality: Track customer satisfaction levels and generate regular Distributor Satisfaction Reports to ensure service consistency.
D. Market Intelligence & Innovation
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor existing and emerging competitor activities to maintain customer retention and identify market gaps.
- Product Development: Partner with creative and product teams to launch new product and report regional market requirements to the central office for future innovation.
E. Performance, Finance & Reporting
- Operational Discipline: Ensure the timely submission of daily operations reports and the completion of all KRA/KPA documentation.
- Financial ROI: Manage and effectively utilize allocated regional budgets to maximize ROI on all sales and marketing activities.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare and present detailed brand and sales performance reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
