Role Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven Medical Representative to promote QURIST's products and services by building strong relationships with doctors, clinics, hospitals, chemists, and pharmacy counters. The role requires extensive field engagement, scientific product detailing, business development, and effective relationship management to support prescription generation and product availability.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with doctors, specialists, clinics, hospitals, chemists, pharmacy counters, and other healthcare providers.
- Promote QURIST's products and services through regular field visits, scientific discussions, and product detailing.
- Identify, onboard, and nurture new prescribing doctors, clinics, hospitals, and pharmacy partners to expand QURIST's network.
- Conduct daily field visits to doctors, clinics, hospitals, chemists, and pharmacy counters to promote products, strengthen relationships, and generate business opportunities.
- Ensure product availability and visibility at pharmacy counters by building strong relationships with chemists and monitoring inventory requirements.
- Prepare and submit a weekly field visit plan at least one week in advance, detailing the proposed schedule, target customers, and business objectives.
- Execute the approved field visit plan effectively while maintaining flexibility to accommodate business priorities.
- Submit timely daily and weekly activity reports, including visit outcomes, follow-up actions, market intelligence, competitor insights, and business opportunities identified during field interactions.
- Maintain accurate records of doctor interactions, pharmacy visits, follow-ups, and business development activities in the company's CRM or reporting system.
- Achieve monthly doctor coverage, pharmacy coverage, engagement, and business development targets while adhering to ethical promotional practices and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable company policies, healthcare regulations, and ethical marketing guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in B.Pharm or B.Sc. (Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Zoology, Botany, or a related discipline).
- 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Medical Representative, Pharmaceutical Sales Executive, Healthcare Sales Executive, or in a similar field-based healthcare sales role.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships with healthcare professionals and pharmacy partners.
- Good planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in the field.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must own a two-wheeler (motorcycle/scooter) and possess a valid driving licence, as the role involves extensive daily field travel.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory is mandatory.
