Job Summary
The Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. The role includes managing cash, processing digital and card payments, maintaining billing records, and ensuring the cash counter operates smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive cash, card, UPI, and other digital payments from customers.
- Generate accurate invoices and issue receipts.
- Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain daily cash and transaction records.
- Handle customer billing queries professionally.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth billing operations.
- Ensure proper handling of refunds, exchanges, and cancellations as per company policy.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the billing counter.
- Report any cash discrepancies or system issues to the Branch Manager immediately.
- Follow company policies, SOPs, and security procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate or 12th Pass (Commerce background preferred).
- 1–2 years of experience as a Cashier or in a similar role.
- Freshers with good numerical skills may also apply.
Required Skills
- Strong numerical and calculation skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with billing/POS software.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Honest, reliable, and responsible.
- Ability to work in shifts and during weekends or holidays, if required.

- Accuracy in billing and cash handling.
- Zero or minimal cash discrepancies.
- Customer satisfaction.
- Timely completion of daily cash reconciliation.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
