Position Design Engineer - HVAC & Cleanroom Projects
Experience 3 to 6 Years
Qualification Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field . The candidate will be responsible for preparing HVAC and
cleanroom design drawings, calculations, technical documentation, and coordinating with internal
departments for smooth project execution.
The ideal candidate should have strong HVAC design knowledge, hands-on AutoCAD experience, and
preferably prior experience in cleanroom, pharma, healthcare, industrial, or controlled environment
projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare HVAC and cleanroom design drawings as per project requirements.
- Perform heat load calculations, duct sizing, piping layouts, and ventilation system design.
- Select suitable HVAC equipment such as AHUs, filters, diffusers, chillers, ducts, piping, and related
components.
- Prepare technical drawings, BOQ, design documents, specifications, and supporting project
documentation.
- Review client requirements and provide suitable technical design solutions.
- Coordinate with Sales, Projects, Purchase, PPC, and Execution teams for design inputs and project
requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with project specifications, cleanroom requirements, HVAC guidelines, and
applicable standards.
- Support site execution teams by resolving technical queries during project implementation.
- Revise drawings and documents based on client comments, site conditions, and project changes.
- Maintain proper design records, drawing revisions, and technical documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles and systems.
- Good understanding of cleanroom design requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of AHU, ducts, filters, diffusers, chillers, piping, ventilation systems, and cleanroom
components.
- Ability to read, understand, and prepare technical drawings.
- Basic knowledge of heat load calculations, duct sizing, piping layouts, and equipment selection.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of pharma, healthcare, industrial, or cleanroom projects will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹11,300.95 - ₹46,021.43 per month
