Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and innovative R&D / NPD Executive with 3–5 years of experience in the FMCG or Food Processing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new products, enhancing existing formulations, conducting product trials, and ensuring compliance with quality and food safety standards. This role requires close collaboration with Production, Quality, Procurement, Packaging, and Marketing teams to successfully commercialize products.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and commercialize new food products based on market trends and business requirements.
- Improve existing product formulations to enhance quality, taste, shelf life, and production efficiency.
- Conduct laboratory trials, pilot batches, and production-scale validations.
- Evaluate new ingredients, raw materials, and packaging solutions.
- Perform shelf-life, stability, and sensory evaluations to ensure product quality.
- Prepare formulations, product specifications, SOPs, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Procurement, Packaging, and Marketing teams for successful product launches.
- Identify and resolve formulation and manufacturing challenges during scale-up.
- Support cost optimization initiatives without compromising product quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends, consumer preferences, and emerging food technologies.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Dairy Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in R&D/New Product Development within the FMCG or Food Processing industry.
- Strong understanding of food ingredients, processing techniques, product development, and commercialization.
- Hands-on experience in product trials, process validation, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
