Job Summary
ABODE School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Part-Time Spanish Teacher to help students develop proficiency in the Spanish language through engaging and interactive lessons. The ideal candidate will create a positive learning environment that encourages students to build confidence in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Spanish language lessons as per the assigned schedule.
- Develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Spanish.
- Use interactive teaching methods and activities to make language learning enjoyable.
- Assess student progress through class activities, assignments, and periodic evaluations.
- Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the school curriculum.
- Foster an inclusive, student-centered classroom environment.
- Collaborate with coordinators and fellow teachers to ensure effective curriculum delivery.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events whenever required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Spanish, Foreign Languages, or a related field.
- Certification in Spanish language proficiency (DELE or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
Experience
- Prior experience teaching Spanish in a school or educational institution is preferred.
