Focus: Automation-first, with a solid traditional networking foundation
About the Role
IT’s Network Engineering organization runs network operations at scale and is automating them end-to-end, building Network-as-Code and NetDevOps practices.
This role owns the day-to-day operational health of the network, including observability, reliability, and vulnerability remediation, while also building the automation and tooling that make ongoing operations safe and faster.
Responsibilities
Own network observability — monitoring, alerting, and analytics across:
Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless
ISE
AVI Load Balancers
Palo Alto NGFWs
SD-WAN (Cloudgenix)
Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM
Drive day-to-day network reliability, including:
Incident response
Troubleshooting
Proactive health checks on live production network infrastructure
Own vulnerability patching and remediation for network devices and infrastructure, tracking issues through closure.
Build and maintain the automation framework that becomes the primary touchpoint for routine network operations and changes.
Translate Gold Standard Network Configurations into data models and code using Network-as-Code practices and source control.
Maintain and extend in-house automation tooling, including:
Ansible / AWX
CI/CD pipelines
GitHub Actions
Jenkins
Buildkite
Configure, test, and troubleshoot network devices directly. This is a hands-on operational networking role, not just a scripting position.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
7+ years of hands-on network operations/engineering experience.
CCNA or equivalent networking knowledge.
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking, including:
IOS
IOS-XE
NX-OS
IP addressing
Subnetting
OSPF / BGP
ACLs
VLANs
Experience with network monitoring/observability tools and vulnerability patching/remediation.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
