Job Description – Electronic Technician
An Electronic Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic systems and equipment used in industrial, commercial, or manufacturing environments. The role involves diagnosing faults, testing electronic components, and ensuring smooth functioning of electrical and electronic devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain electronic equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic circuits, PLCs.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Conduct testing and calibration of electronic instruments and devices.
- Replace faulty components and ensure proper system functioning.
- Support engineers and production teams in technical activities.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of electronic circuits and components.
- Ability to use testing tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering equipment.
- Understanding of PLCs, control panels, and automation systems.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
Qualification
- Diploma / ITI in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience required in related field.
