Job Description:
The Warehouse Methods & Process Excellence Manager is responsible for designing, optimizing, and standardizing warehouse processes to improve safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, service levels, and operational efficiency. The role will lead warehouse transformation initiatives, implement best-in-class warehousing practices, support digitalization projects, and drive continuous improvement across inbound, storage, material handling, and outbound operations. This role is aligned with warehouse process optimization, lean logistics, and supply chain excellence principles.

Design and optimize warehouse layout, material flow architecture, and storage strategies.

Develop efficient inbound, storage, picking, replenishment, kitting, and dispatch processes.

Standardize warehouse operating procedures and work instructions.

Review and improve warehouse productivity, space utilization, and operational efficiency.

Establish warehouse methods aligned with Lean and Supply Chain best practices

Lead Lean Warehouse initiatives using Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Visual Management, and Standard Work.

Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

Drive continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, cost, delivery, and inventory performance.

Optimize warehouse lead times and material movement through scientific methods and data analysis

Optimize stocking strategies based on inventory classification and demand patterns.

Design and implement Kanban replenishment systems.

Improve inventory accuracy, stock visibility, and warehouse control processes.

Manage material flow between warehouse and production operations.

Support cycle count and inventory governance initiatives.

Act as Key User for warehouse digital solutions including:

SAP / ERP

WMS (Warehouse Management System)

MES
-
AGV Automation
-
IoT Solutions
-
Barcode & RFID Systems
-
Lead warehouse digital transformation projects.

Ensure data accuracy and governance across warehouse systems.

Drive automation initiatives to improve operational performance
Required skills:

Drives for Results — advanced level; delivering measurable improvements in warehouse efficiency and throughput

Lean Methodology — intermediate level; applying lean principles to eliminate waste and optimize workflows

Manufacturing Process Optimization — intermediate level; identifying bottlenecks and implementing process enhancements

Material Flow Design and Methodology — intermediate level; designing efficient layouts that support operational goals

Operational Health and Safety Management — intermediate level; ensuring compliance with HSE standards and protocols

Continuous Improvement — developing level; leading initiatives that drive incremental operational gains

Influencing Skills — intermediate level; gaining stakeholder buy-in for process changes and new initiatives
-
Digital Literacy — intermediate level; leveraging technology and data to inform engineering decisions
-
8+ years of experience in Logistics Engineering, Warehouse Methods or Supply Chain Excellence.

Minimum 3 years in warehouse process improvement, methods engineering, or operational excellence roles.

Experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, electronics, automotive, or engineering industries preferred.
