Overview
We are seeking a skilled Setter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with precision measuring instruments. As a Setter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise in handling various tools and equipment will contribute significantly to our manufacturing operations.
Duties
- Set up and adjust machinery according to specifications to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality control.
- Operate stamping presses and other equipment as required for production tasks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement CAD designs and SolidWorks models into the production process.
- Conduct materials handling tasks, ensuring proper storage and organization of components.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and equipment settings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with Manual programming in VMC milling machines
- Experience with hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring instruments is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
