About Arthace
Arthace is a modern, AI-powered accounting platform built for Indian businesses. We help owners move on from manual bookkeeping and dated software to a faster, smarter way of managing their finances. We're building our team in Surat and want an accountant who enjoys being out with customers — showing them how good software makes their life easier and setting them up for success.
The Role
This is a field-based role for an accountant who likes being on the move rather than stuck at a desk. You'll visit new prospects across Surat to give product demos, then onboard them once they sign up — using your accounting knowledge to migrate their books from Tally/existing software and set them up correctly. If you know accounting and enjoy meeting people, this is for you.
What you'll do
- Visit prospects (traders, SMEs, shops, CA offices) and give live product demos
- Onboard new customers — set up their account, migrate data from Tally/existing software, and train their staff
- Use your accounting knowledge to make sure every customer's books are set up accurately
- Support customers through their first few weeks so they stay confident and happy
- Follow up on leads and help convert them into paying customers
- Share customer feedback with our product team
What we're looking for
- B.Com / M.Com or similar, with solid working knowledge of accounting (debit/credit, GST, ledgers)
- 1–3 years' experience in accounting or accounting-software support/implementation (Tally/Busy/Marg/Zoho etc.)
- Comfortable with daily field travel around Surat
- Good communication in Gujarati and Hindi (English a plus)
- Own two-wheeler
- Confident, presentable, and genuinely enjoys helping people
What we offer
- Fixed salary: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000/month (based on experience)
- Incentive on every new customer you bring live — the more you onboard, the more you earn (realistic total earnings ₹30,000–₹50,000+/month)
