Role Overview
This is an immediate hiring opportunity for a meticulous and results-driven professional to lead our Finance and Accounts department. The selected candidate will take full ownership of financial management, statutory compliance, audits, payroll finance, and banking operations at our Mumbai headquarters, ensuring robust financial health and strict adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Financial Management: Manage complete books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations. Finalize Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Trial Balance. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Taxation & Compliance: Handle end-to-end GST compliance (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation). Manage Income Tax returns, advance tax computations, and assessments. Handle TDS compliance, returns, and reconciliations. Ensure compliance with all statutory laws.
- Audit & Liaison: Coordinate and support statutory audits, internal audits, and GST audits. Liaise with Chartered Accountants, auditors, banks, and government authorities. Provide data and explanations during audits and assessments.
- MIS & Reporting: Prepare and present MIS reports, financial analysis, cash flow statements, and budgets. Monitor working capital, receivables, payables, and inventory. Support management with financial insights and decision-making data.
- Payroll & Finance: Salary disbursements. Ensure timely payment of statutory dues.
- Banking & Fund Management: Handle daily banking operations, reconciliations, and fund planning. Manage loans, credit facilities, and documentation.
- Team & Process Management: Supervise and guide accounts team members. Implement and improve accounting controls, processes, and SOPs. Ensure data accuracy and internal control compliance. Take responsibility for handling all personal matters including taxation, compliance, banking, audits, and financial reporting for stakeholders.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Education: M.Com / MBA in Finance (or equivalent qualification).
- Experience: Proven experience handling end-to-end accounting, taxation, and financial reporting.
- Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory labor compliances (PF, ESI).
- Core Competencies: Excellent team management, analytical problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
