Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor the school's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware and software systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain various hardware and software systems, such as email, antivirus, firewalls, and backup systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IT systems, including hardware and software, connectivity, and security.
- Ensure the smooth functioning of IT systems, including network connectivity, server uptime, and system availability.
- Ensure that all systems are up-to-date with the latest software patches, security updates, and virus definitions.
- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures, including security policies, disaster recovery plans, and data backup policies.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to IT systems, ensuring proper authentication and authorization.
- Provide technical support and assistance to users, including training and guidance on IT systems and software.
- Evaluate new hardware and software solutions, and make recommendations for system upgrades and enhancements.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in IT systems and technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- System Administration and Network Administration skills
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Experience in troubleshooting and providing technical support
- Knowledge of Information Technology
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, or Microsoft are a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in the education field
