Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager – Estimation & Billing to handle estimation, costing, quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and billing activities for MEP projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in estimating the entire MEP package, including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems, along with client and subcontractor billing.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for MEP projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
- Perform quantity take-offs for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
- Analyze project requirements and prepare accurate cost calculations.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotations and pricing.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and bid documents.
- Manage client billing, RA bills, final bills, and subcontractor billing.
- Verify work completion quantities and ensure accurate billing documentation.
- Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate with project, procurement, and finance teams for smooth project execution and billing processes.
- Maintain records of estimates, variations, change orders, and billing reports.
- Support project teams during tendering, execution, and project closure.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–5 years of experience in MEP Estimation and Billing.
- Strong experience in estimating the entire MEP package, including:
- HVAC Systems
- Electrical Systems
- Plumbing Systems
- Fire Fighting Systems
- ELV Systems
- Knowledge of quantity surveying, BOQ preparation, and cost analysis.
- Experience in client billing, subcontractor billing, RA bills, and final bill preparation.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of MEP project execution and cost control.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and billing activities simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and reporting skills.
Key Requirement
The candidate must have 4–5 years of experience in estimation and billing of the complete MEP package, including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems, with expertise in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, client billing, and subcontractor billing.
