Job Purpose
To prepare and maintain mechanical design drawings, manufacturing documentation, and Bills of Materials (BOM) while supporting fabrication and machining activities through effective coordination with production teams and ensuring accurate project documentation and ERP updates.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Drawing Preparation
- Prepare mechanical drawings for heat exchangers, machining components, and fabrication assemblies.
- Develop detailed manufacturing sequence drawings and related engineering documentation.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and manufacturing requirements.
Production & Shop Floor Coordination
- Coordinate with shop floor teams to clarify drawings and resolve technical queries.
- Provide execution support during fabrication and manufacturing activities.
- Assist in site measurements whenever required.
Documentation & ERP Management
- Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Maintain project-related documents and records.
- Update ERP systems with project and engineering data.
- Track and update document status throughout the project lifecycle.
