About the Role
We are looking for a CGI Lead to drive the creative and technical excellence of our 3D visualization team.
This role combines leadership, hands-on production, client interaction, and innovation. You will oversee automotive visualization projects from concept to delivery while helping shape next-generation CGI and AI-powered workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of CGI artists.
- Review and approve creative output to ensure exceptional quality standards.
- Allocate resources and manage project priorities across multiple workstreams.
- Establish and maintain scalable CGI production workflows.
CGI Production
- Create high-quality automotive renders and visual content.
- Own the CGI pipeline from asset creation through final delivery.
- Develop realistic lighting, materials, shaders, and environments.
- Ensure visual consistency across vehicle variants and projects.
- Optimize scenes and assets for efficient rendering performance.
- Troubleshoot technical and production challenges.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Present concepts and creative solutions to clients.
- Collaborate with internal creative, production, and strategy teams.
- Act as the primary creative and technical point of contact for CGI deliverables.
Innovation & AI Integration
- Evaluate and implement emerging CGI and AI tools.
- Build workflows that combine traditional CGI techniques with AI-assisted production.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality using AI technologies.
Required Skills & ExperienceAutomotive CGI Expertise
- Strong experience in automotive visualization and vehicle rendering.
- Expertise in photorealistic lighting, shading, materials, and rendering.
- Deep understanding of automotive paint shaders, studio lighting, and product visualization.
- Experience delivering automotive marketing visuals, launch assets, or commercials.
Software & Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Blender.
- Strong understanding of rendering workflows and optimization.
- Experience with asset management and mesh optimization.
- Knowledge of Photoshop and post-production workflows.
Leadership
- Proven experience leading CGI teams and managing complex projects.
- Ability to balance quality, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong communication and client-facing presentation skills.
AI & Emerging Workflow Experience
Experience with or strong interest in:
- ComfyUI
- Stable Diffusion
- Midjourney
- Runway
- Flux
Preferred candidates will understand:
- AI-assisted concept generation
- Look development
- Upscaling and image enhancement
- Material generation
- Prompt workflows
- Node-based AI systems
- Hybrid CGI + AI production pipelines
Nice to Have
- Unreal Engine experience
- Animation and cinematic automotive presentations
- Real-time rendering workflows
- PBR workflows
- Experience working with global automotive brands, OEMs, or mobility companies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Animation, Visual Effects, Computer Graphics, Design, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in CGI, 3D visualization, or automotive rendering.
- Prior team leadership experience preferred.

Mandatory Requirement
Candidates must have prior experience in Automotive CGI / Vehicle Visualization and provide a portfolio showcasing relevant work.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹160,000.00 per month
