Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design & Estimation Engineer responsible for electrical design, estimation, BOQ preparation, technical documentation, and coordination with project and procurement teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical designs, drawings, SLDs, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Prepare BOQ, BOM, MTO, and detailed project cost estimates.
- Review tender documents, technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
- Perform electrical load calculations, cable sizing, voltage-drop calculations, and equipment selection.
- Prepare cable schedules, panel schedules, lighting layouts, earthing layouts, and other electrical documents.
- Analyze material and manpower requirements for projects.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for electrical projects.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, procurement, and project execution teams.
- Review vendor quotations, technical offers, drawings, and material specifications.
- Provide technical support to the project team during execution.
- Ensure designs and estimates comply with applicable electrical standards and project specifications.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, BOQs, estimates, revisions, and technical documents.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Design and Estimation.
- Good understanding of electrical power distribution systems.
- Knowledge of cables, panels, transformers, generators, lighting, earthing, and electrical equipment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
- Good knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity take-off.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in EPC, industrial, infrastructure, manufacturing, or engineering projects will be an advantage.
- Experience in electrical design, estimation, tendering, and project execution is preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical standards and codes is desirable.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
