Job Summary:
The Industrial Relations Manager will play a strategic and operational role in ensuring industrial harmony, statutory excellence, and disciplined workforce management within a railway manufacturing environment. The incumbent must possess hands-on experience in railway sector manufacturing units, strong labour law expertise, and the ability to manage plant-level IR independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain harmonious relations between management and workmen in a manufacturing setup.
- Handle grievance redressal, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Maintain statutory registers, returns, and documentation.
- Drive statutory welfare measures in factory environment.
- Support legal cases, conciliation proceedings, and labour court matters if required.
- Strengthen governance framework aligned with railway project expectations.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 10+ years of Industrial Relations experience.
- Must have experience in Railway / Railway Equipment Manufacturing sector.
- Strong exposure to factory environment.
- Experience handling unionized or semi-unionized workforce preferred.
- MBA in IR / Labour Welfare (Mandatory).
