Area27 Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Purchase & Logistics Head to lead procurement, inventory, warehouse, and logistics operations for our technology and project businesses. The role requires someone who can efficiently manage sourcing, vendor relationships, material planning, and timely deliveries for multiple ongoing projects across North East India.
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, Materials Management or Logistics will be preferred.
- Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in Purchase, Procurement, Inventory and Logistics.
- Minimum 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Experience in IT Infrastructure, ELV Systems, Electrical, Automation, Construction or Project-based industries will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement activities for IT Infrastructure, Networking, Home Automation, Audio Visual, Architectural Lighting, Fire Alarm, Security & ELV projects.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely material availability and cost optimization.
- Identify, evaluate and negotiate with vendors, OEMs and distributors for the best commercial terms.
- Manage purchase planning based on project schedules and sales forecasts.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to project sites across North East India.
- Monitor inventory levels, warehouse operations and stock movement to avoid shortages and excess inventory.
- Coordinate with Sales, Projects, Service and Accounts teams for procurement planning and execution.
- Manage transportation, logistics, dispatch and inter-site material movement.
- Track vendor performance, delivery timelines and product quality.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, documentation and statutory requirements.
- Prepare procurement MIS, inventory reports, vendor performance reports and cost-saving initiatives.
Preferred Skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes for project-based businesses.
- Experience dealing with OEMs, distributors and system integrators.
- Sound knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management and logistics planning.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, planning and leadership abilities.

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
