Role Overview:
Maxpo Exhibitions is looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to lead client acquisition, sponsorship sales, and exhibition growth initiatives. This role is ideal for professionals with 2–3 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or exhibition/event sales who are passionate about building strong business relationships and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and market research
- Reach out to potential exhibitors, sponsors, and corporate clients through calls, meetings, and follow-ups
- Promote exhibition spaces, sponsorship packages, and branding opportunities to clients
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with exhibitors and business partners
- Convert leads into successful business opportunities through effective communication and negotiation
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and participation targets
- Maintain accurate client records, sales pipelines, and daily activity updates
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth event execution and client coordination
- Represent the company at exhibitions, trade fairs, and networking events
Skills Required
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Confidence in client handling and business development activities
- Good understanding of B2B sales and relationship management
- Target-oriented and proactive mindset
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills
- Basic knowledge of CRM and sales reporting tools is an advantage
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Client Acquisition, or Exhibition/Event Sales
- Proficiency in English
