The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of customer vehicles, spare parts, and company personnel as required. The role includes vehicle pickup and delivery, assisting with workshop operations, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with all traffic and company safety regulations while delivering excellent customer service.
- Pick up and deliver customer vehicles safely and on time.
- Transport vehicles between the workshop, customer locations, RTO, body shop, and other authorized locations as required.
- Assist in vehicle movement within the service center to support workshop operations.
- Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles before movement.
- Report any vehicle damage, defects, or unusual observations immediately to the Service Advisor or Workshop Manager.
- Ensure all customer vehicles are handled with utmost care to avoid damages.
- Maintain trip logs, fuel records, and vehicle movement registers as required.
- Deliver spare parts, documents, and other materials between branches or vendors when assigned.
- Keep company vehicles clean and ensure routine maintenance schedules are followed.
- Follow all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Support service campaigns, roadside assistance, and emergency vehicle recovery when required.
- Provide courteous and professional interaction with customers during vehicle pickup and delivery.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Service Manager.
